Veterans Day Parade set for Saturday in Sherman

SHERMAN, Tex. -- In just less than one week, the nation will pause to recognize those who have fought for our freedom. November 11th is Veteran's Day, but Texoma is celebrating early with a Veteran's Day Parade on Saturday, November 10th.


Veteran's Day Parade
Saturday, November 10
10 a.m.
Mulberry and Walnut St.
Sherman
To enter call: Charlie Brown (903) 463-4084

The parade kicks off in Sherman at Mulberry and Walnut Streets at 10 a.m, and there will be a memorial ceremony at Fairview Park at 10:30 a.m.

All veterans are invited to take part.

Monday, November 5, is the last day to enter in the parade.

    I would like to take this time to thank all of our veterans and pray for our troops it has been said war is hell and it is and they had to walk right through it and live with it the rest of ther lives so thank you all and god bless

    Too bad Sherman doesn't pause. Last year the parade was a 'SHAME'. Traffic wasn't even rerouted until it actually started. Maybe they are having it early because it may interfere with a BBQ or a football game.
