DENISON, Tex. -- There are new plans for parks in Denison. The city council plans to erect a sign near the National Guard Armory and Culpepper Fields, showing that the Smith Foundation helped acquire the property.
People are mostly using the area for parking at the softball fields now, but parks and recreation officials say they may construct more trails in the area to connect with Waterloo Lake.
The next council meeting is March 3.
