GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- The North Texas Regional Airport will soon be home to the first ever texoma Summer Music Festival. Officials at the airport voted Thursday morning to hold the music festival at the airport with the condition that no alcohol would be served.

The event will feature 23 bands from around the country playing on two stages, and will also include fun events for the entire family. Organizers say a festival like this is long overdue in Texoma.

"There is so much good music around here that I just wanted to get them all together," organizer Joshua Hansard said.

The concert is scheduled for the weekend of July 18-20.

Good Point!! What, does everyone think that just because its a music fest that they should walk around and be wasted all day? I seriously doubt this will affect the attendance of the show.
