SHERMAN, Tex. -- Officials with the city of Sherman know residents have an opinion when it comes to the future of the city, and they want your input.
The city will be hosting two community forums to find out quality of life issues important to residents and their vision for the future of Sherman.
Council member Cary Wacker is part of the committee hosting the forum. Wacker says community input will help them decide on details for Sherman’s comprehensive plan.
"Certainly we value the input from people young and old, people who have lived here a long time and new residents. This can give us perspective on the community we are and what we want to be," Wacker says.
Two forums will be held. One is this Thursday at Sherman High School's Little Theater from 6 to 8 p.m. The other is next Thursday at the Sherman Municipal Ballroom.
