ARDMORE, OK -- Ever wonder what it feels like to be 121 years old? There was cake and a public birthday celebration on Friday, but not for a person. It was for the city of Ardmore.

Citizens gathered at Mountain View Mall to celebrate the special occasion. Artisans were on hand, and the stores inside the mall even got into the spirit by offering special deals to shoppers.

"We have arts and crafts show here. It will last today and tomorrow until we close the mall, then again all of our tenants here are having up to 75% off certain items," Cathy Bump at Mountain View Mall said.

The cake reportedly was a big hit with the lunchtime shoppers.
