Children's Chorus of Greater North Texas rehearses on Mondays at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sherman, 1515 N. Travis. Music Makers, Choir for Kindergarten thru 2nd grade rehearses at 5 and Concert Choir, grades 3 and up, rehearses from 5:45 to 6:45. The choirs are for boys (with unchanged voices) and girls. We are a nonprofit and a member of the Sherman Council for the Arts and Humanities. Singers who are interested in being a part of the choir should call Susan Matthews for an appointment to register or audition for the choirs. Our first rehearsal for fall will be on Monday August 18, and our first performance will be for the Sherman Arts Festival at 11:30 a.m. on the Gazebo Stage.

I think there is a fee for being a part of the choir. Maybe that's discouraging people.
