ARDMORE, Okla. -- Summer coming to an end means more than shorter days. It also means county fair time across the area.

The Carter County Fair is underway at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum in Ardmore. They have everything you might expect at an old-fashioned country fair like animals, a carnival, and, of course, lots of food.

Organizers say a big crowd is expected this weekend.

"There’s no cost to enter anything in the fair or to enter the booths. We do have a school group, that's their fundraiser -- do the parking -- it's $3 for parking to get in per car. That’s the only fees to get in the fair except the carnival," Carter County Fair manager Angie Green says.

The Carter County Fair runs through Saturday night.
