BONHAM, TX - A local nonprofit that helps provide mammograms to women who can't afford them is gearing up for a big fundraiser later this month. The the 2nd Annual Women Rock Susan Hicks Memorial 5K & Fun Run is Saturday, March 31, in Bonham.

A portion of this year’s 5K proceeds will go to Rozlyn Austin (pictured), a 2007 graduate of Bonham High School who was recently diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, to help offset her medical expenses. The remaining proceeds will, as always, go to Women Rock, Inc. to help promote breast cancer awareness, provide education on the importance of early detection, and provide financial assistance to women in need to obtain mammograms.
