Durant hosts Bryan Co. Ag Expo
DURANT, OK — The Fifteenth Annual Bryan County Ag Industry Expo is underway Friday in Durant. We’ve posted the schedule of events and demonstrations on this story.

DURANT, Okla. — The Fifteenth Annual Bryan County Ag Industry Expo is underway Friday in Durant. We’ve posted the schedule of events and demonstrations on this story.
The James H. Dunegan Expo Center in Durant is home to more than seventy events this year, including a few John Deere exhibits and all sorts of farm equipment.
Officials say each year, the expo is going to be bigger and better, and that is holding true this year.
The expo is free to the public.
Bryan County Ag-Industry Expo
Friday Oct. 17th
EVENTS:
Chuckwagon Breakfast: 7:30 to 10:00 a.m.
Opening Ceremony: 10 a.m.
Exhibit Booths open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Hands-on Cast Iron Cooking Lessons: 10 a.m., 12 noon, 2 & 4 p.m.
The Choctaw Nation Salad Sisters: 11 a.m.
Silent Auction: 12 noon to 6:45 p.m.
Antique Tractor Parade: 3:00 p.m.
Fire Truck & Equipment Display: all day
Rope Making: all day
Award Presentation: 5 p.m.
BBQ Dinner: 5:30 p.m.
Live Entertainment: 6 p.m.
EXPO DEMONSTRATIONS
Milk the Cow Demo: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Grist Mill demo: 12 noon
Haybailer demo: 12:30 p.m.
Sawmill demo: 1 p.m.
Buzz Saw demo: 2 p.m.
KIDS ACTIVITIES
Petting Zoo & Llamas
Corn Shelling - all day
Kiddy Tractor Pull - all day
Brace & Bit - all day
Rabbits - all day
Pumpkin Contest: begins at 10 a.m.
Pumpkin Judging: 1 p.m.
Pumpkin Award Presentation: 2 p.m.
Sweetart the Clown: 4 to 6 p.m.
Pioneer Demonstrations: 5 to 7 p.m.
