WHITESBORO, TX -- If you enjoy wrestling, this weekend you will have the opportunity to enjoy some good entertainment and support a good cause at the same time.

The Whitesboro Rotary Club is raising money to help send local kids to college. They are hosting an NWA Wrestling Match at Whitesboro High School on Saturday night beginning at 7 o’clock. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

Officials say they wanted to host an event for the whole family to enjoy. All proceeds will go toward scholarships for high school seniors.

“We hope that we could come away and profit from this about $5,000. We would love to do that. It would really help our scholarship fund and really put us on track to help a lot of kids," Tim Meador of the Whitesboro Rotary Club says.

Those who arrive early will sit ringside and be a part of a taping of the match to air in a few weeks.
