Taste of Texoma in Denison

Video will be available shortly.

DENISON -- Local restaurants took their food offerings to downtown Denison on Monday, giving hundreds of people a sampling of area cuisines.

The Boys and Girls Club held the 12th annual Taste of Texoma festival on Main Street in Denison on Monday afternoon.

Attendants enjoyed a wide variety of foods, from hot wings to pasta, and fried rice.

The band 'Time Peace' entertained the crowd, and local artisans were also on hand to eat good food for a good cause.

"We really want to make it a family event because the Boys and Girls Clubs, we're here for the whole family. So we want to do the same thing out here," said Suzette Jewell of the Boys & Girls Clubs.

Organizers say Monday's turnout was one of the largest in event history.
