SHERMAN, TX--A local cosmetology school is doing its part to help raise money for those with muscular dystrophy. Diamonds Cosmetology College is having a fundraiser starting Tuesday that runs through Saturday. They're offering discounted haircuts to raise money for Jerry's kids.

Now each hair cut is $5. The hair cuts are done by Diamond Cosmetology Students. All proceeds will go towards the MDA Lock Up which is being held Thursday April 1st at Texas Roadhouse in Sherman. Charlotte Hamil is one of the students participating. Hamil says this was a cause the students at the cosmetology college wanted to take part in. They do take walk-ins, but are urging folks to make an appointment.
