Earth Day was started as a way to give respect to the Earth and look at ways we can preserve our natural resources. To celebrate this event locally, the 16th annual Earth 1st Expo will be 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the BancFirst Plaza, 310 W. Main Street, in Ardmore, Saturday, April 20. BancFirst, KICM, OGE Energy Corp, and Ardmore Beautification Council are sponsors of this family-oriented environmental fair.

Environmental displays, entertainment throughout the day, recycling, sales of garden related items, and hands-on crafts will be available. Prospective vendors can visit ABC’s web site www.forabc.org to download exhibitor information. There is no charge for exhibit space. Earth Day t-shirts can be pre-ordered on the website.
