PARIS, TX-While the weather may not be ideal for motorcycle rides, bikers from all over North Texas still came together to support a good cause.
Caddo Creek chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse held their first annual fundraiser this afternoon at Buffalo Joe's in Paris, Texas. They collected donations to provide support for any victim of abuse who can't afford the help they need. Organization president, Gonzo Matijevich said this is their way of making a change step by step.
"Taking care of kids, they really are our only future. We as a community have a responsibility if one child stands, raises and shakes his fist and say 'this is not gunna happen again.' We as a community of bikers have a responsibility to get them through the system," he said.
Bikers Against Child Abuse will hold their next event next year.

There is a meaning to the back patch! The fist is a symbol of opposition to child abuse, red symbolizes the blood of the children, white is the innocence of the children, the chains represent our united organization, and the jolly roger is a warning to the abusers. Please goto and read more about us.

Sounds like a good cause & all, but don't you think a fist might not be appropriate for their logo?
