GRAYSON COUNTY-It was just two years ago in December when the city of Denison was hit by a tornado and a team of civilians helped protect citizens. It's called the Grayson County Community Emergency Response Teams or "CERT." It's made up of volunteers who are trained to respond to disasters and attend to victims to assist emergency responders.
CERT will begin a new round of classes Tuesday, January 4th, at the Grayson County courthouse. Training is free and open to any Grayson County resident over 18.
If you miss this session, you can still attend one of their classes every first Tuesday of every month until September.
