ARDMORE, OK -- Cancer survivors and those who have lost the battle will be honored Saturday in southern Oklahoma.
Ardmore's 20th annual Relay for Life is Saturday night.
The Opening ceremony begins at 6 p.m. and festivities include live music, vendors, and entertainment for kids.
Event chair Kelly Fryer says 26 teams have signed up and they've raised close to $80,000 this year to go benefit the American Cancer society.
Fryer said, "You know that's one thing I love about ardmore is that we are a community that works together the money that we raise helps put gas into the van that gets our patients to the mercy cancer center so it is a community event."
Fryer says the event is held at Noble Stadium and is open to the public.
