The Denison High School class of 1963 will hold its 50-year reunion Oct. 4 and 5. Activities get underway on Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. with a mixer at Loose Wheels Texas in Denison. There is a $5 cover charge at the door and attendees are responsible for their own food and drinks.
On Oct. 5, the group will gather at 11 a.m. at Watson’s Drive In on Main Street. After eating, the group will shop downtown during the annual Fall Festival. At 7 p.m. the class will meet at the Rialto Theater for a “red carpet” walk, a big screen presentation of photos, special guests and a live performance by Little Big Iron with Greg Guymon. The cost for the Oct. 5 evening event is $40 per person which must be paid to Linda White Piper. Attendees will also be able to join the Denison Alumni Association that evening. Roger and Jerri Jo Shires will be manning the association sign-up table and the cost is $15 per year or $125 for life.
