DENISON, TX- It's a sweet day for the city of Denison as they hold their first annual Sweet Jubilee Cake and Sugar Arts Show Saturday.
Dozens strolled around the 400 block of Main street browsing through vendors and checking out merchandise. Others stayed indoors at the Mary Karam Gallery to watch cake decorating demonstrations. Cakes decorated by residents were also put on display in the gallery.
Sweet Jubilee co-creator Susan Hamilton said they put together the event to show guests what cake decorating is all about.
"To celebrate the art of cake decorating because I know it's a lot in the media and you see it all the time now on TV, but it's actually cool to see it up close and personal," she said.
