SHERMAN, TX - A familiar face stopped in at Austin College today to offer some "helpful hints."

Heloise, author of the syndicated column published round the world, was the special guest speaker at the "Stop and Smell the Roses" Luncheon benefiting Home Hospice of Grayson, Cooke and Fannin Counties.

The event recognized the efforts of the Home Hospice Auxiliary Board and encouraged other people to join. KXII was proud to be a part of today's luncheon and take part in the festivities. Guests enjoyed lunch and a style show.

Heloise shared what she's learned about caring for those in their later years and also about how caregivers can take care of themselves.

"The caregiver does all the work and does not get get a lot of recognition, so I have some tips to help them help themselves," Heloise said.
