Murray State College is proud to announce its Commencement Ceremony, Friday, May 10th at 7:00 pm on the North Lawn of the Administration Building. More than 400 students from across Southern Oklahoma and beyond are expected to take part in the ceremony.
Oklahoma State Representative Charles McCall will be the commencement speaker. Representative McCall was elected last year to serve Oklahoma’s 22nd District which includes Atoka, Garvin, Johnston and Murray counties.
The public is invited to attend. There will be limited seating available for graduates and family. Those attending are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs to make themselves comfortable on the North Lawn.
INCLEMENT WEATHER PLANS: In the event of inclement weather, two commencement ceremonies will take place inside Fletcher Auditorium. Graduates will be assigned a time based on their degree program. The associate of arts and associate of applied science will begin at 6:00 p.m. The associate of science ceremony will take place at 8:00 p.m. Students and attendees for the first ceremony need to report to the Beames Field House Gym at 5:30 pm. Students and attendees for the second ceremony need to report to the Beames Field House Gym at 7:30 pm. If the inclement weather contingency is activated, a notice will be posted to the MSC website by 12:00 PM on Graduation Day.
