Pet Peace of Mind

The relationship between pets and their owners is very important especially if the owner is a hospice patient.

There is a new program that can help cultivate that relationship.

Pet Peace of Mind
Nov. 4th & 11th 6-8pm
Need veterinarians, groomers, boarding facilities, volunteers and professionals, and donations.

Goals- To raise Awareness if the need for pet care as apart of hospice care and the value of the relationship between pet and owner.
To provide hospice patients and caregivers the assurance that hospice providers understand the role of their pets in contributing to their emotional and spiritual well-being.
To develop a network of local providers and trained volunteers to assist with pet related needs during the patients time on hospice and to ensure a positive outcome for the pet's future after the patient is gone.
