Southeastern hosts Economic Summit on June 4 with Chancellor Johnson as keynote speaker

DURANT, Okla. – The E3 Summit is back for a second year – bigger and better than ever. This economic development event is hosted by Southeastern Oklahoma State University as part of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Making Place Matter initiative.

This year’s summit is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in room 103 of the General Classroom Building at Southeastern. The theme of the day will be E3 – Engage Our Publics. Envision the Future. Empower the Region.

Chancellor Glen D. Johnson of the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education will serve as the luncheon keynote speaker. Among other speakers on the agenda is Oklahoma State Senator Josh Brecheen.

Presenters will discuss such regional issues as Ecosystems and Workforce Development, Choctaw U, Branding Lake Texoma, and A Manufacturer’s Viewpoint. Business, community, and education leaders from throughout Oklahoma and Texas are expected to be in attendance.
