'Tools 4 Schools' drive underway in Denison

DENISON, TX - Texomans are stepping up to make sure area kids have what they need to head back to school.

Every year Knight Family Chiropractic hosts their "Tools 4 Schools" supply drive. They prefer cash donations so the schools can buy supplies in bulk and save money.

Dr. Ryan Knight says it takes 25 to 35 dollars to get each child the supplies they need. Last year they outfitted kids in Denison, Pottsboro and Sherman and hope to do the same this year.

"You know, we're not the only one doing school supply drive. There are churches and other organizations doing that, and that's great. I just encourage everybody to get involved in some way. Because you know if you can make a difference in a child's life, then you can make a difference for generations to come," Dr. knight says.

You can drop off cash donations at Knight Family Chiropractic in Denison. You can also donate over the phone.
