SHERMAN, TX - A Texoma hospital showed off some updates to their facilities. Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ Hospital hosted an open house displaying their newly renovated emergency department.

ER director Debbie Green says the halls are now bigger with new equipment that will help track patients and their conditions when brought in. She also says the nurses' station has been opened up so patients have better access to medical personnel.

"I love it. It's better for our patients, it helps us give better quality of care. Patients have better access to our emergency department, it helps with patient flows," Green says.

Renovations to the ER cost about $5 million.
