Remembering His Roots

BONHAM, TX -- It’s not too often a small town can call one of their own a national champion. For the past three years, the city of Bonham has had the luxury to do just that. Appalachian State head football coach Jerry Moore has won three straight national championships, but his success can be traced all the way back to his high school days in North Texas. Daniel Gotera had the chance to sit down with the coach.

Seniors learn about crime prevention in Sherman

SHERMAN, TX -- With obesity rates on the rise in American adults, doctors are questioning how to get kids motivated to work out. The conclusion is that habits form in children, but the couch potato syndrome has kept them indoors and inactive for far too long. Now a new wave is on the horizon to get children active, with the help of action-oriented games. Residents respond to possible new high school in Durant

Bonham PIP to perform at Globetrotters Game

The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Dallas this Friday and Saturday to play at the American Airlines Center. When they break for halftime on Saturday, forty-five children and youth from Bonham will take to the court to perform. The kids are members of the All-Star PIP team from Bonham. When they take the court, they will dribble, spin and show off other basketball handling skills in a carefully planned routine set to music.
