DURANT, Okla. -- This week's A + Athlete is Bo White of Durant High School. Bo is a leader on and off the field.
His formula is pretty simple. "Just work hard, be determined, believe in yourself," Bo says, but it's the way he leads that makes him stand out.
On the field, Bo is starting quarterback for the Durant Lions. While his talents do shine on the gridiron, this multi-talented athlete excels in soccer and basketball as well as football.
"He's not going to a whole lot, he just performs it doesn't matter what sport it is. We want ball in his hands, he takes it over from there,” Durant coach Byron Cordell says.
In the classroom, Bo is enrolled in challenging courses, such as health careers, Spanish and administration, but it's his humble attitude and morals that sets him a part.
"He has the tendency to make me a better coach, and he does that more times than I can describe," Coach Cordell admits.
When his head isn't buried in the books you can find Bo participating in extra curricular activities, such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Soccer Club.
"Outside sports and school, I don't do anything. I go home, hang out with family, my time is pretty balanced, " Bo says.
Congratulations to Bo white on being named this week's A + Athlete.
