DENISON, Tex. -- It's a new look for a familiar building on the Grayson County College campus. What used to be the Science Building is now the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies.
The Center features four brand new computer labs, eight new classrooms with state-of-the-art instructional technology, and even a computer museum.
The building also houses new offices for professors and other staff members.
Dr. Jeanie Hardin, the vice president for instruction, says the community has been very supportive and the renovated building is a wonderful addition to a growing college.
"To see the new facilities come in and see all the advances, we're really giving students skills for success," said Dr. Hardin.
Dr. Hardin also says the new building has made a huge difference in the students’ attitude toward learning.
