Bonham ISD is committed in providing opportunities for students to succeed on the SAT and/or ACT college admissions tests and be able to attend the college of their choice. To reach this goal, Bonham ISD is offering all district students in grades 7 through 12 on-line SAT and ACT courses through The Princeton Review.
The Princeton Review has built its impressive reputation on twenty-five years of providing the most effective test preparation programs available. In fact, most students see a significant increase in their SAT and ACT scores after taking a Princeton Review test preparation course. A 100-point improvement can mean the difference in being accepted to the college of a student's dreams or being awarded the scholarship that makes college financially possible.
The online SAT and ACT courses provide the resources and materials students need to master the SAT and ACT as follows:
-Interactive lessons that feature animation, audio, and self-directed navigation
-Full-length diagnostic tests with detailed score reports
-Customized preparation for students to help prioritize and stay focused
-Personalized online accounts accessible from any Web-enabled computer
-Content and technical assistance available 24/7
The Princeton Review also assists students to become familiar with how the tests are structured and how to interpret the questions accurately. Combining The Princeton Review's expertise in test preparation with today's technology will ensure that all students have the extra help they need in preparing for high-stakes college admissions tests.
Bonham ISD is currently making plans to train campus and district personnel to facilitate student access to the online preparation courses. For further information, contact Ricky Gatlin, Director of Curriculum, at 903-583-5526 extension 1222.
