GUNTER, Tex. -- A group of Gunter students took home the top prize in a national business competition.

Zach Lewis, Tyler Lowing, Andi Thomas, and Preston Thomas are all part of Team Spartan. The students took first place in the Deloitte Virtual Competition, which allows high school students to develop a business which will raise money for United Way in a virtual environment.

The group was able to beat out over 5,500 students and over 225 schools for the prize.

Each student received $500, and the United Way of Grayson County was given $1,000.
