ARDMORE, Okla. ― A talented Ardmore student will soon be singing for an all-state choir.

Antonio Rodriguez is a fifth grade student at Charles Evans Elementary School. Rodriguez is the only Ardmore student selected to be a part of the Oklahoma Music Educators Association Children's Chorus.

More than 450 music students tried out for the chorus, but only 145 were chosen.

Antonio told us he is so excited about the honor, he even took the time to share one of his favorite songs.

Antonio's first performance with the OMEA Chorus will be in January in Tulsa.
