SHERMAN, TX -- The entire Bells High School got to spend a day outside of the classroom, and in a movie theater instead. Principal Will Steger took about 250 students to the Cinemark in Sherman to see the movie "The Blind Side".
The buses rolled up a little after nine this morning filled with hundreds of excited students. But even though they weren't learning traditional lessons in class, Principal Steger and the high-schoolers say the movie has a valuable message to be taught.
"All the kids get to enjoy it, and it was a great story and a great film, and I even had tears in my eyes," Steger said.
Principal Steger says he tries to treat the kids to a movie every year during the holidays.
