DURANT, Okla. – They may teach for a living, but over the past four days hundreds of Oklahoma teachers have been students.

The Commission for Teacher Preparation hosted the workshop in Durant, preparing teachers to become nationally board certified.

That title gives Oklahoma teachers at all levels $5,000 a year for ten years.

Teachers learn everything from techniques for interacting with students to different teaching methods.

This is the tenth year for the workshop.
