ARDMORE, OK - Snow is still covering much of the city Friday in Ardmore. The snow prompted schools in the area to cancel school Friday, but officials say area roads are mostly clear.

The snow is beginning to melt, leaving slushy conditions on some roadways.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Interstate 35 is clear for travel, and says they haven't had any weather related accidents so far Friday.

OHP warns drivers as always to be cautious on overpasses and bridges.

And KXII wonders why so many people on the south side of the Red River consider 12 an OKLAHOMA station. The "writer" could just as easily said "Snow is still covering much of Ardmore....blah blah"

Why is it always about Ardmore? I imagine all Ardmore's snow melted before it hit the ground because of all the hot air coming out of that little burg.
