Maureen is the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. news anchor and executive producer.
Maureen is proud to be a part of the Texoma community and the KXII news team.
She and her husband have called Sherman home for several years. During that time, she's gotten to know and love the area, and more importantly -- the people who live here.
She's covered the stories that are important to you. From the floods of 2007, the Sherman bus crash, the tragedies of the Lone Grove and Tushka tornadoes, to recognizing the people who give back to those in need, all across Texoma. She's been honored by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters for her anchoring and recognized, along with the entire KXII team, for 2011 Best Newscast, 2013 Best Newscast and 2014 Best Newscast.
But it's not just covering the stories that matters, it's being involved with the people affected by those stories.
Maureen is a member of the board of the Childrens' Advocacy Center of Grayson County, a member of the Texoma Medical Center Women's Advisory Board and a past board member and current volunteer for Women Rock. She is a current board member for Sherman Education Foundation. She's done construction on a Habitat for Humanity home and has worked with the Wilson N. Jones Community Foundation and the Home Hospice of Grayson, Cooke and Fannin counties.
Although she's worked in television in Bryan, Texas, Lincoln, Nebraska and Tyler, Texas, Texoma is her home.
If you have a story idea or just want to say hello, drop Maureen an email -- she'd love to hear from you!
