12 thousand dollars worth of damages done to equipment

HEALDTON, Okla. (KXII) - Healdton police say about 8 people went on a rampage, doing about 12 grand in damage to some heavy equipment.

Police say the backhoe was stolen from No Man Road and found destroyed about two months ago.

Chief Jon Sumner says in total about 12 thousand dollars worth of damage was done to other oilfield equipment, the old city water tower and the backhoe.

So far, 18-year-old Hunter Coffman has been arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle and malicious injury to property.

Police believe many of the 8 involved were juveniles.
