777 Zip hosts fundraiser for 4H shooting team heading to nationals

DAVIS, Okla. (KXII) - The 777 Turner falls zipline donated today's ticket sales to a local club heading to nationals.

Owner Gary Fielding says all money made from ticket sales will be given to the Murray County 4H shooting team, representing Oklahoma at nationals in Nebraska this June.

Fielding, whose granddaughter is part of the shooting team, says he wants to help pay for their trip costs which is usually in the thousands of dollars.

Members of the Air Rifle shooting team tell us they are overwhelmed with the support they've received from the community.

"It's quite something, cause I never thought of it before," member Colby Dilday said. "I never thought the community would (help), especially this cool place out here."

"It is really awesome because we really need this and we need the extra money to be able to go and get the things we need and to be able to go there," member Cassidy Allen said.

Fielding says the public should also keep an eye on social media for other businesses that will be holding similar fundraisers.
