HUGO, Okla. (KXII) -- Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents are investigating after two pipe bombs were found inside an ice cream bucket just north of Hugo.

Choctaw County Sheriff Terry Park said the land owner made the discovery in a pasture one mile north of the Martin Marietta Hugo Quarry, east of Old Airport Road.

The pipes were inside of the ice cream bucket that was wrapped in a trash bag.

Park says a trigger device was also found next the bombs, but it was not connected.

The Oklahoma State Highway Patrol bomb squad was called in and found the bombs were full of gun powder.

Federal authorities are testing it for fingerprints and DNA material.
