SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) U.S. Marshals caught and re-arrested a Sherman man who is accused of nearly killing a 3-month-old baby girl.
Damon Deshawn Finley was initially arrested for injury to a child back in January and was bonded out a few days later.
Court documents state it is unknown how the 24 year-old from Sherman hurt the baby but it could have been by shaking, throwing or hitting the baby.
The baby was taken to the hospital for seizures then flown to a Dallas hospital, and she survived.
Finley was indicted in May on attempted murder of a child. With an active warrant Tuesday, the U.S. Marshals arrested him.
