Bill Magers announces re-election bid for Grayson County judge

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) -- Grayson County Judge Bill Magers announced his re-election bid on Tuesday.

During the announcement, Magers thanked his family and his colleagues for their support. "I enjoy what I do," he said. "It is my greatest honor to serve the citizens of Grayson County, and I appreciate the opportunity to serve again."

If elected, this would be Magers' second term as county judge.

Prior to becoming county judge in 2015, Magers was elected Sherman mayor for three terms.

Magers graduated from Sherman HS and Austin College.
