COLBERT, Okla. (KXII) -- A bomb squad was called to a Colbert home this afternoon and it may be connected to an earlier police chase south of the Red River.
Authorities raided this home in Colbert in connection with the car chase two hours earlier.
"This is a follow-up investigation assisting Grayson County Sheriff's department in a case involving possible explosive devices."
Bryan County Sheriff Johnny Christian says they found a smoke bomb and hand grenade inside the home.
They're not sure on if the man involved in the chase, Joshua Reardon, lived here.
"It's my understanding that he stays here on occasion."
The Oklahoma Highway patrol bomb squad was called to the scene to help remove the smoke bomb and will be investigating if the hand grenade is active.
If it is, Christian says the two people who live in the home could face charges.
"They could be facing state and federal charges. The federal government is aware of it, they have been notified So all of this is going to be pending the outcome of the full investigation."
The man and women who live in the home have not been arrested and their names have not been released.
It's unknown how the chase suspect and these two residents know each other.
