Burglars target Ada-based gospel station

ADA, Okla. (KXII) - An Ada-based gospel station says they're praying local law enforcement finds the person responsible for stealing multiple items from their radio headquarters.

Gospel Station Network founder Randall Christy says a member of his staff arrived at their office Wednesday morning and noticed things were missing.

The staffer immediately called the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office to make the report.

Christy says the thieves got away with a flatbed trailer, air conditioner units, a generator, power washer, music equipment, a roll of coax cable and lights.

Christy tells us he had security cameras set up, but the thieves went around them so they wouldn't get caught.

"We got here. and we were very upset about it. Now that we've had a day to think about you know we just realized these things are going happen, and we're going to push forward no matter what so we're gonna look to the future," he said.

Christy says they're now missing about $35,000 worth of equipment.

He's asking anyone with information to call the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office at 580-332-4168.
