Canadian Visit by Tue-Wed

Thu 30 November 2017

November 2017 was the 8th warmest on record in Texoma, and one of the driest ever.

Now, it looks like we will see a dramatic change in the pattern by Dec 5th or 6th (Tue-Wed) as a big “buckle” develops in the jet stream allowing a chunk of Canadian air to move southward.

This will probably be the coldest air of the season with some low to mid 20s possible by Thursday morning, and windy highs only in the 40s. So, it will start feeling like the Christmas season pretty soon.

One good thing – it will kill off many of the unseasonable and very undesirable insects we’ve seen this month. Good riddance!
