City celebrates grand opening of new terminal at Ada Regional Airport

ADA, Okla. (KXII) - The city held a grand opening ceremony Saturday for the new terminal building.

The old terminal (which has since been torn down) was built 70 years ago.
The city tells us construction took about a year to complete and cost roughly 1.3 million dollars to build.

Ada regional airport provides fueling services, storage hangars and a fixed-base operator.

The new terminal is open to everyone and the city encourages residents to come visit the building.

Right now, Ada students are able to use the building as a part of their aviation program.
