Convicted bank thief gets probation in plea deal

LAMAR COUNTY, Tex. (KXII) -- 49-year-old Deidra Kirby was given ten years probation, ordered to perform 500 hours of community service and ordered to pay back $350,000 in restitution.

Kirby was indicted in October after Paris Police received a forgery complaint from an out of town doctor back in June.

Court documents state the she stole the money belonging to Sychrony Bank over the span of two years.
