Denison fire destroys vacant home

DENISON, Texas (KXII) -- Fire burned down a vacant home on Sunday.

Denison firefighters said the blaze started just before 10 p.m. in the 200 block of Lariat Drive.

Fire officials said the home appeared to be vacant, and neighbors said it had been empty for a few years.

The fire was under control soon after firefighters arrived.

The fire marshal has been called to investigate.
