Deputies continue search for home invasion suspect

CHOCTAW COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) -- The search continues for a man wanted for several burglaries and home invasions in Choctaw County.

A response to a home invasion in Ft. Towson Tuesday morning turned into a day long search for the man suspected of breaking into a home.

As Choctaw County Deputies were on their way to investigate, they saw a red pick-up truck matching the suspect vehicle description that Rocky Duncan and Aaron Victory allegedly used in the home break-in where they were run off by the homeowner who fired shots at them Tuesday morning.

Deputies pulled the truck over on Highway 70 near the Choctaw-McCurtain County line.

Duncan, the driver, surrendered to authorities after a short vehicle pursuit, but they say Victory reached for a gun on his waist.

That's when Sheriff Terry Park says he and Choctaw County Deputy Jeff Epley fired shots at Victory before he ran off into the woods to escape being arrested.

Deputies say was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white shirt.

"We've had people and units from Bryan County Sheriff's Office, Broken Bow PD, Idabel PD, Valliant, Oklahoma Highway Patrol looking for Mr. Victory all day long," Sheriff Park said.

Deputies called off the ground search near Ft. Towson around 2 p.m., but the search was called back on hours later after someone reported a sighting of Victory in the Rufe area.

"Well it's just been a trying day," Park said. "You're trying to recover people's property back."

Deputies say Duncan and Victory are suspected in at least three home burglaries and two home invasions in Eastern Choctaw County near Ft. Towson and Swink in the last four days. They say the two are suspected of stealing ATV's and firearms, which investigators are working to recover.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are continuing to search for Victory while Duncan remains behind bars in the Choctaw County Jail awaiting charges.

Victory is described as a white male, around 6 feet tall, between 150 and 170 pounds, with dark hair. If you know where he is, contact your local law enforcement and do not approach him. Victory is considered armed and dangerous.
