Craig Stanford is accused of shooting and killing Aaron Lavers and Athony Rogers in their apartment in May 2016.

Police said Stanford was caught with an iPad that was stolen from Lavers' and Rogers' apartment.

District Attorney Criag Ladd says they are seeking the death penalty because he sees Stanford as a threat to society and may not stop with two murders.
