Fatality crash shuts down part of I-35 in Love County

LOVE COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) -- I-35 southbound, just south of Marietta, is shut down to one lane due to a fatality crash.

Troopers said around 6:15 a.m. Sunday, 41-year-old Charles Hackley was driving a semi when he veered into the median, over-corrected and then drove off the roadway into a tree.

Hackley died on scene.

The semi was hauling landscaping tools. Troopers shut down the right lane to clean up the roadway. No word yet on when the lane will be back open.
