Fire leaves Antlers family of six without a home

ANTLERS, Okla. (KXII) -- A family of six left with nothing after a fire destroyed their Antlers home Saturday.

The home was located east of Antlers, off of Highway 3.

One of the homeowners says the fire started Saturday afternoon,
and that none of the people who lived there were home at the time.

She says the community has already gathering donations. as they are in need of clothes and shoes. Toys are also welcome for the kids. Some unopened Christmas presents were burned in the fire.

Donations can be dropped off at Affordable Body Works in Antlers.

Firefighters believe the fire may have been electrical.
