CLAYTON, Okla. (KXII) -- A Gainesville man is dead after an accident in Pushmataha County Saturday.

It happened around 6:45 p.m. on private property northwest of Clayton.

Troopers said Ray Milligan, 53, was driving a homemade rock crawler down a rock ledge when the vehicle overturned.

Milligan was partially ejected and pinned, but freed by bystanders before officers showed up.

Milligan was pronounced dead on scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, though officials say Milligan did have an odor of alcohol.
